This cutting-edge educational museum experience tells the story of the White House, its inhabitants, and the people who have dedicated their careers to its functions.

“It is an innovative, immersive, and educational journey – one that transports visitors to different chapters intime” said former First Lady Jill Biden. She continued “at its core, this project is about education – teaching our students about our country’s origins, bringing to life the countless people who shaped it and who made the White House into the beating heart of our democracy.”

Located just steps away from the real Executive Mansion in Washington, this 3,000 m² space features exact replicas of the White House’s fifteen key rooms, including the iconic Oval Office.

Visitors can engage with a large-scale model of the White House, a recreation of the Rose Garden, immersive re-enactments of the White House's pivotal moments, and other galleries featuring connected objects, touchscreens, and scenic projections.

World renowned exhibit design firm, Ralph Appelbaum Associates, designed The People’s House: A White House Experience and led the project.  Chargeurs Museum Studio’s U.S. subsidiary, D&P, worked under RAA to fabricate the exhibits and bring RAA’s cutting edge designs to life. Another CMS subsidiary, Leach, partnered with D&P to complete many of the graphic elements on this project as well. The People’s House showcases D&P’s ability to combine cutting-edge technology with the preservation and promotion of historical heritage.
